Priory Bay is one the most beautiful unspoilt sandy beaches on the Isle of Wight. It is sheltered from the south-westerly wind and scramblers can access this privately own beach from Horestone Point via Seagrove Bay in the south or from Nodes Point in the north via St Helens.

There are no facilities on the beach but a favourite amongst boating enthusiasts. So mooring can become busy over summer holidays and weekends.

The bay is surrounded by woodlands owned and managed by the National Trust. This area, known as the St Helens Duver, is rich in wildlife and history. A circular coastal walk exploring the area starting from Bembridge harbour returning via St Helens village is detailed here
